Welcome to Hopton House B&B South Shropshire - Regional B&B Of The Year 2007 

If you're looking for a rural escape, somewhere you can relax, unwind and take time for yourself, then Hopton House, a converted granary  in the beautiful Clun Valley, is the B&B for you. 

 

After a warm welcome, relax after your journey with a cup of tea and a slice of our homemade fruitcake  in your room or in our new oak framed guest sunroom. You can enjoy the views and plan your stay using our guidebooks and maps.   

 

The beds are so comfortable and the nights so quiet ( apart from the odd hooting owl ) that guests sometimes find it difficult to get up for breakfast. Breakfast is a leisurely affair; lots of choice for meat eaters and vegetarians alike, and made with the best of local produce. 

 

We are the perfect base for your exploration of Shropshire's Blue Remembered Hills and are centrally situated for visiting Ludlow, Clun, Knighton, Leintwardine and Bishops Castle. There are several walks from the house or walk 2 minutes to a request stop and take the Heart of Wales Railway Line to explore beautiful Mid and South Wales.
