Welcome to Hopton House Bed and Breakfast Shropshire

If you're looking for a rural retreat - somewhere you can relax and unwind following a day out exploring the Shropshire Hills - then Hopton House, a converted granary voted West Midlands B&B of the Year in October 2007, is the B&B for you.

After a warm welcome, relax after your journey with a cup of tea and a slice of our homemade fruitcake in your room or in our new oak framed guest sunroom, enjoy the views and plan your stay using our guidebooks and maps.

The rooms are warm and pampering, all en-suite with baths and powerful showers, the beds so comfortable  and the nights so quiet that you may find it difficult to get up for breakfast, which is a leisurely affair; lots of choice for meat eaters and vegetarians alike, and made with the best of local produce

Centrally situated for visiting Ludlow, Clun, Knighton, Leintwardine, Bishops Castle and the Shropshire Hills, our Shropshire B&B is ideal for exploring this beautiful area. There are several walks from the house or  take the Heart of Wales Railway Line to explore Shrewsbury, Church Stretton or beautiful Mid and South Wales.

We look forward to welcoming you soon for what we hope will be the first of many visits.
